CO2 Reduction with KÖSTER TPO Pro
KÖSTER TPO Pro is one of our most sustainable products. With a recycled polymer content of > 50% and a high SRI value (Solar Reflectance Index) of > 94, we have launched a new leading product on the market. We have also recently received certification for our CO2 balance from the SKZ - Das Kunststoff-Zentrum, which states that the use of 1,000 m² of KÖSTER TPO Pro roofing membranes, for example, saves 1,860 kg of CO2. At the same time, KÖSTER TPO Pro is extremely durable with an expected service life of well over 30 years. Due to the superior reflection of the sun’s rays and heat, the roof heats up less and thus saves cost for air conditioning and the low temperatures put less strain on the roof structure.

KÖSTER at BAU 2025 - Focus on the sustainability of buildings
We will once again be exhibiting at this year's BAU in Munich, Europe's largest construction trade fair. KÖSTER BAUCHEMIE AG is continuously developing new products that serve to maintain and extend the service life of buildings and to fundamentally ensure a sustainable and healthy building fabric. We will be presenting some of these products at the trade fair in the form of live demonstrations at our stand.

We took part in this year's DHBV conference. Due to its very low density and its surface tension which is considerably lower than that of water, KÖSTER Crisin 76 displaces water from the capillaries. After full cure, KÖSTER Crisin 76 remains elastic and does not rot. Density: 0.91 g/cm³, viscosity 15 mPa·s. KÖSTER Crisin 76 is resistant to all aggressive media which are usually encountered in masonry such as acids, alkalis and salts, during application as well as after full cure. Together with KÖSTER Restoration Plasters it is suitable for the restoration of masonry.
