The wharf cellars in Utrecht suffer from water leaks, salt efflorescence, and rising damp. To keep them habitable, these cellars are currently undergoing extensive renovation. All Köster disciplines for waterproofing the interior of a structure are being explored here. Many cellars date back to the 15th century.
